Job description

The tasks include the maintenance of the chemistry and mass spectrometry laboratories, the preparation of rocks for geochemical and isotope analyses, the monitoring of safety regulations, and the support of users. Very good English language skills, diligence in the laboratory and the ability to work both independently and within a team are expected.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in wet chemistry and rock preparation would be an asset
- Expertise in laboratory technique development
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills in English with the ability to complete detailed analytics and reports
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Judgment, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to maintain an organized and effective work environment
- Ability to analyze and synthesize sizable amounts of detail/data
