✨ we have published a 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹, for two research positions within the project: “URGERE: URban GEodiversity for a Resilient Environment” for one year, at 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 salary level. The job is full-time, on-site at CNR IRPI, Perugia, Italy.

𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
Study of the relatioship between urbanizatio, natural hazards, geodiversity and geomorphodiversity with multi-scale methods and high-resolution digital elevation models. Work with spatial data in GIS enviroment, scientific production.

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

  • Master Degree (required) in: Geology, or Environmental Engineering, or Civil Engineering, or Safety Engineering, or Physics, or Geography, or Computer Science, or Mathematics, or Forestry and Environmental Science, or Agricultural and Environmental Biotechnologies, or Technology, or Environmental Science.
  • Previous experience (preference) in: geomorphology, geomorphometry, study of landforms, spatial analysis and numerical modeling. The selection scores will be based on the candidate’s knowledge of GRASS GIS working environment, working experience with Linux operating systems, experience in using spatial representations with point clouds, knowledge of R and Python programming languages.
