3-year teaching post-doc position Tectonics / Geomorphology
University of Potsdam
The General Geology working group at the Institute of Geosciences, which currently consists of three permanent and nine temporary scientific staff and two technical staff, is responsible for teaching in the fields of general geosciences, structural geology, tectonics and Earth surface processes in the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programmes in Geosciences. The research activities of the group combine studies of tectonics, climate and surface processes on different time scales with the overall aim of gaining a better understanding of these complex interacting processes that shape our planet and our habitat. Our laboratory facilities include a full range of low-temperature thermochronological methods as well as GIS resources, a 3D laboratory and a graphics laboratory. The working language of the research group is English.
