The JSC`s Earth System Data Exploration (ESDE) research group collaborates with numerous national and international institutions, as well as weather services, to create a pioneering AI foundation model for weather and climate predictions. This is achieved within the context of several BMFTR and EU-funded projects.

Your Job:
In this role, you will work alongside passionate scientists, project leaders and project managers to coordinate and manage funded research projects and share the success of ESDE`s research through social media, web pages, and other platforms. Your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating and managing funded research projects with project leaders
Communicating research results and achievements to a wider audience
Tracking project timelines, coordinating upcoming milestones, and deliverables
Organizing workshops, meetings, and conferences
Assisting in preparing project reports and proposals
Your Profile:
To be part of our dynamic team, you should have:
A Master`s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or Engineering, preferred with a subsequent PhD
A curious and enthusiastic mindset, with excellent interpersonal and networking skills
Strong management and coordinating abilities
Pronounced editorial skills with a sense for aesthetics and design
Exceptional communication skills in English (and preferably German)
