Job description

Khalifa University and the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences, Abu Dhabi, UAE, seek applicants for a tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Earth Science for Spring 2026.  We seek applicants who will strengthen our research and education programs in core and emerging areas of Earth Sciences.

We welcome applicants across disciplines and academic ranks within the Earth and Planetary sciences. We welcome applicants who utilize a broad range and combination of tools and techniques, including field and remote observation, theory, modelling, and experimental methods.

The Earth Science Department at KU is engaged with the Emirates Polar Program and the development of the Polar Research Centre at KU. The department actively works with local and international partners to enhance regional and global research in Marine Geophysics and Geochemistry, Sedimentology, Climatology and Palaeoclimatology, Space Exploration and Remote Sensing.
