Job description

The Civil, Construction, and Environmental Engineering Department at The University of Alabama is seeking candidates for a Postdoctoral position. This position is available to individuals with research interests and expertise in modeling and data analyses of hydrologic processes.

This Postdoctoral position will be expected to conduct research in the general area of hydrology under the supervision of Dr. Mukesh Kumar. Works on the evaluation and development of the next-generation (eco)hydrologic models, and produce novel scientific insights regarding hydrologic responses and their controls during climate extremes.

Knowledge of modeling and data analytics to develop simulation codes and for conducting data analysis. Superlative ability to articulate research objectives and hypotheses, and ability to work as part of a team. Excellent analytical ability and in-depth knowledge with at least one programming language.
