OPEN CALL: 2026 Science-Policy Pairing Scheme with MEP Dimitris Tsiodras
Each year, the EGU, in collaboration with the MEP Group on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development provides an EGU member with the opportunity to visit Brussels and work alongside a Member of the European Parliament for up to a week.
This year’s pairing will be with Dimitris Tsiodras, a Greek Member of the European Parliament (MEP), representing the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats). He is a member of the European Parliament’s Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection, and a substitute member of the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy. Tsiodras is also Co-Chair of the MEP Group on Climate Change, Biodiversity and Sustainable Development.
The Pairing Scheme will take place from 3-6 November 2026 and it is open to all EGU members who are EU citizens or EU residents. You can read more about this year's Science-Policy Pairing Scheme here and apply here by midnight on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
