My research interest resides on salt deformation, salt tectonics, and its influence on basin structures via interpretation of integrated subsurface data. In the past four years, I have focused on the deformation and evolution of the Messinian evaporites in the Levant Basin at the eastern Mediterranean through 3D seismic interpretation and well log interpretation.

Home / Awards & medals / Outstanding Student Poster and PICO (OSPP) Awards / 2018 / Charlotte Lyddon
Her research aims to understand the sensitivity of coastal flood hazard to the interaction of storm surge, local wind, waves, river and morphology in a hyper-tidal estuary. Accurate prediction of key combinations of factors that define the total water level and wave hazard can facilitate the management and emergency response of coastal resources, reduce economic risks and inform decision makers to minimize loss of life from extreme events.
