EGU is pleased to confirm that our General Assembly will once again be available in an hybrid format in 2025, following our aims to broaden the accessibility and flexibility of the event. The meeting will take place both on-site in Vienna (Austria) and virtually, as we continue to evolve the General Assembly into a fully hybrid occasion.

He holds a degree in Cadastral Engineering and Geodesy from U. Distrital FJC of Bogotá, Colombia, and earned his master’s degree in Geodesy and Geoinformation from TU Berlin. His research focuses on atmospheric effects on GNSS Reflectometry (GNSS-R) from airborne and spaceborne observations.

Plastic pollution is a big problem in the ocean, with many marine animals mistaking it for food. Plastic has even been found in the deepest part of the sea, reaching a part of the world we humans haven’t even been before!

The EGU Election Autumn 2010 for the next Treasurer and Division Presidents was closed on 30 November 2010. We would like to thank each of the candidates for their initiative in standing for the election. We also sincerely thank all those EGU members who used their voting right. Active participation in elections ensures continuation of the well-established bottom-up structure of our Union! In total, 1510 EGU members voted in this election.
