EGU is pleased to confirm that our General Assembly will once again be available in an hybrid format in 2025, following our aims to broaden the accessibility and flexibility of the event. The meeting will take place both on-site in Vienna (Austria) and virtually, as we continue to evolve the General Assembly into a fully hybrid occasion.

You can only change your registration type until 13.00 CET 14 April, due to the fact that we need to officially report the number of on-site participants that we expect along with details of our Hygiene Plan. We want to thank our community for joining us on this journey back to meeting together in person, and toward a fully hybrid format for the General Assembly.

Dedicated to bringing science to teachers, the Cape Town GIFT workshop features local scientific experts from the University of Cape Town, the Iziko South African Museum, and the Two Oceans Aquarium. Together, teachers and scientists will explore water through space and time, from presentations on the origin of the oceans and the role of traditional knowledge in ocean conservation to lesson building using aquarium touch tanks.
