Daniel Vech studied Earth Sciences with specialization in Geophysics and obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, Hungaryin 2014. He prepared his BSc thesis at the Wigner Research Centre for Physics, Budapest, Hungary on the effects of solar storms at Venus. Following his bachelors degree, he was accepted to the Joint European Master in Space Science and Technology(SpaceMaster program). During the first semester of the program he studied at the Julius Maximilian University of Würzburg, Germany. Currently, during the second and third semesters of the Master’s course he is studying at the Luleå University of Technology, Kiruna,Sweden where he is collaborating with the Swedish Institute of Space Physics. His research focuses on the space weather effects on Venus particularly ICME/CIR passages. The presented work at EGU has been published in the Journal of Geophysical Research – Space Physics
