I am a PhD candidate at the Soil Geography and Landscape group at Wageningen University and Research (Netherlands). My research aims to bridge the gap between the supply of and demand for soil data in land use analyses. The PICO presented at EGU 2017 focussed on the methods that I developed to improve the soil data for land use analyses contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 2 ‘Zero Hunger’. The research is funded by Wageningen University and Research and the CGIAR research programme on Climate Change, Agriculture and Food Security (CCAFS).
