Wazita Scott is a PhD candidate in the Understanding and Managing Extremes programme at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia, Italy. Her research focuses on analysing extreme precipitation and assessing sub-seasonal forecasts of these events in Italy. At EGU 2022, she presented her findings on weather circulation patterns associated with extreme precipitation during summer and winter in Italy.
