GMPV Campfire - Scientific Edition

The GMPV Campfires are back with the first General Format edition after the break. We have three speakers for you, covering the whole GMPV range, from volcano slope stability, over titanium isotopes of early earth continents to rare-metal granites.

The campfire will take place on December 14th at 4pm CET. Our speakers are:

Shreya Kanakiya (PostDoc @ University of Houston, USA) – Investigating the effect of subsurface processes on volcano slope stability from lab to field-scale models.

Liam Hoare (PostDoc @ Ruhr Universität Bochum, Germany) – Titanium isotope insights into the formation of Earth’s earliest continents

Christophe Ballouard (Research Scientist @ CNRS, Université de Lorraine, France) – A cannibalistic origin for rare-metal granites? Insights from the Velay anatectic dome (Variscan French Massif Central)
