Early Career Scientists step into the role of European policymakers at the first MEP4ECS event 21 September 2026 This summer the first ever Model European Parliament for Early Career Scientists (MEP4ECS) event took place in Brussels, involving Early Career Scientists from across Europe. Funded by EGU through the Special Activtiy Fund and organised by Fondazione ISSNOVA with the collaboration of Rotary Club Global ROOTS, the event gave participants the chance to learn about European policymaking on the theme of 'the role of science in supporting European climate change adaptation policy'.
