16 March 2022 The European Geosciences Union ( EGU ) is opening applications for the seventh edition of its annual Public Engagement Grants scheme, which aims to celebrate and recognise excellent science communication in the Earth, planetary, and space sciences.

Her contribution at EGU General Assembly 2022 focuses on a classic A-type granite, the Pikes Peak Batholith (Colorado, USA), demonstrating that fluids derived from the granitic melt crystallise below the traditionally accepted solidus (650-700°C; Luth et al., 1964; Piwinskii, 1968; Tuttle & Bowen, 1958) forming rims in quartz and plagioclase in the granite.
